I want out

The Guardian has a short documentary on US troops in Iraq. I don't blame the soldiers for their actions. They're in an untenable situation - either shoot the guy driving his car around the neighborhood or take a chance that he's a lookout for snipers who will pick your company off one by one. I don't blame the Iraqis who seeth with anger against the soldiers and throw their support to the insurgents.

The soldier at the end makes a compelling plea - he'll do 15 more months if someone from the Bush Administration will ride around with him on his patrols.
