Sabbatical, Day 3

Monday afternoon I finished grading, and my sabbatical officially began. Ah, the plans I had. Week 1, I clear the boards of unfinished business from the last semester, most importantly a paper concerning my Wicksellian macro model to revise and resubmit. Then I'd take two weeks off for Christmas, New Years, and a conference, then I crash the boards. I've got one paper to finish up by February, then two papers I'd really like to start on, then a whole new research project concerning fiscal policy. But really, it all begins with the first week. I roll up my sleeves and get cracking...

Day 3 - Three-year-old has a fever and sore throat and spent much of the night throwing up. I'm home playing with barn animals and watching Monsters, Inc. Sigh.
