Iran

Caveat: I don't like Iran's government, I think under the current regime Iran is a menace to the region, I think the British navy has the right to inspect ships going through the Shat-al-Arab waterway, I would tend to take the word of the government of Britain in this matter over that of the government of Iran. However:

Is it not likely that Iran's capturing of the fifteen British sailors is retaliation for the U.S. seizure of Iranians in Iraq on a number of occasions? Why haven't I heard anyone in the media or blogotopia speculating about this?
